Can't recommend one in Bridgend but used Fairwater garages these last two years and have no complaints. Recommended to me by another biker so seem to have a good name. Good 15 miles from you though I think.
Get unto the Welshbikers forum. I believe there's even someone from the forum in your area that does servicing.

Fairwater garage is known to be very good and doesn't have the best of hearing too (if you know what I mean).
I would avoid Pee Gee's in Caerphilly, not that it's nearby.
Took bike there for an MOT, went in fine, came out with rear brake light not working (switch in front brake was disconnected)
Another time had new handlebars fitted, gave them some new grips to put on two, and they ripped them with some unsuitable tongs.
Last time I went there for a tyre change, supplied my own tyre, and of my own fault, bought an 18" tyre, he took the tyre off, attempted to put the 18" on, when he should have checked if not known it was too big. At the same time I had to put a new set of sprockets and chain on, figured because I was on a serious budget at the time instead of buying a chain splitter/riveter I would get them to do it, since it's not hard. together that ended up at £90, for a simple change of sprockets, chain and taking a tyre off and putting it back on.

I've used Morpheus on two mile hill rd in kingswood. Nice biker garage.
