being as how tomorrow looks like the first, and last warm and dry day for a few weeks , i m going for a tootle to Southwold and back...will set off from Tesco s at 11.30 sharp , go the pretty way,grab a bag of chip s and maybe a quick half in the pub , then come back the quick way to put my dinner in and watch the Moto GP ...anyone fancies tagging along ,feel free

Thinking about a ride too, but coming from Norwich to meet at Ipswich to then head to Southwold would be a little excessive on what was meant to be a leisurely Sunday :)

What time do you think you'll be in Southwold? Might make it there in time for some chips and a chat maybe? 1pm?

Rich , thats why its only a quick roadtrip there n back ...going to watch the GP , but can only watch a certain amount , i got to pretend i m in it once in a while .....and yea , probably about 1 ish , was going to see if the chippy ,when u first get to Southwold is open ,as they re the bestest fish :),and then try and park near the Lord Nelson for a swift half ...

Just got to Southwold, passed lots of bikes getting here but not many here. It's gorgeous out of the breeze....

Edit: saw you go past the pier Paddy, I was waving/shouting whilst eating me chips then you were gone, nice ride anyway :-)

rode down there after my chips and horlicks , did look but missed you , sorry ..:( met a group from Felixstowe and went back with them .....roads were excellent , all the salts soaked the oil up ..:) ...hopefully we ll meet up later on in the year ...

Ended up having a rare lie in so missed the chance to meet today.

Took the Hornet for its first proper ride yesterday but only a quick hour round trip - we need lots of rain to wash this horrible salt away!

Still after 2 years on the DRZ it was nice to be out on a "proper bike" again :)
