Hey all,

I was unfortunate enough to have my first off on the weekend. I was going round a left hander and low sided, luckily enough I wasn't going stupid speeds but the bike hit a fence and my legs hit a lamp post. Having to get round on crutches at the moment but luckily no breaks or skin damage (firm believer in full gear) so it could have been much worse.

Anyway, to keep repair costs down I have decided not to replace the fairings. The only problem I am having is what I am going to do with the current speedo. I can find mounting brackets for twin headlights and indicators but I haven't been able to find out what to do with the current gauge, or how to tidy up wiring.

Can anyone offer any help or advice? If I can sort a solution I will save a good 600 quid. I wont be converting the bars either as I like the current riding position.

After many hours on google it seems my best option will be buying an after market piece. I'm looking at getting a Trail Tech Vapor, the only issue I have is fabricating a bracket for it to sit on.

I just want something like the simple bar in the attached picture. I cant find anywhere selling something like this. Does anyone know someone who would be able to fab this for me?

looks like a pretty straight forward bracket, can you sketch what you need with sizes. critical points such as hole pitch & size. height required to clear cables etc. the image is fine as a guide but any fabrication company is going to need accurate sizes or something to measure against, which means you taking the bike to them & explaining what you want. speak to any local fabrication companies.
