insurance joke me thinks

Price comparison sites are USELESS! So far still the best quote from my current insurer. I called one of those sites as they guarantee to beat any quote. I tell them I'm offered X with £175 excess. They can beat that with a Y but with an £800 excess!!!!! Are they out of their freakin' minds I ask? They say "they only guarantee to beat the quote, not anything else". Well, that's a bit bloody redundant!!! .... [excuse me while I go and bang my head against a wall...]

Similar to my Car insurance renewal coming in at £750 with Admiral renewing with TPFT 8 years no claims and 3 points I got in July 2011 with a £500 excess..

Quote on Admiral's site gives me about £400 FC with protected no claims and £100 excess.

I love insurance at times.

i had a scooter insured for 200 with 1 NCB. The next year with an IAM test behind me and 2 NCB it went to 350 pounds. I said to insurer over the phone are they crazy, how can they almost double price when i have double the NCB i have. So i insured the sv650 instead.
