my dad said about doing that but insurance would probably be insane prices, may have a look about and see what they think :) would be good fun though :) giving most cars a run for their money

You want an old MG Metro lump for that, along with an LCB exhaust manifold :p You get the right 75bhp lump and the best 3.4 diff aswell.

Excellent motors for as long as the rust hold off.......

Nice!! I used to have a 1998 Mini Cooper Sportspack in black with white stripe, centre twin exhaust with leather and suede interior. Was a beautiful car but unfortunately someone tried to nick it. When they didn't succeed they syphoned my fuel out, poured it inside and set fire to it.

I had planned to do a Z-Cars Conversion to it when I got the cash as the engine was tired as was the gearbox but tbh I probably wouldn't have had a balls or cash to do it.

And that full kit is worth every penny from the people I've spoke to who've done it!

Also there is a couple of vauxhall motors that fit (the pre ecotec MK4 1400 and 1600, and 2.0l red top motor)
Possibly the 1200 VW polo motor from a couple of years ago

or go bloody mad and build...

Our local bike shop has a mini with a 350 bhp mitsibushi evo engine in the front! Hillclimb type racer thing. All custom made mounts etc - must go like absolute hell off the line.
