I have the HJC wolfbane, a measly 40 quids from lids direct. Can't fault it for that money.
Very comfy if plagued by the usual cheaper helmet issues like weight and cheap plastics.
But until you start paying £130+ as far as I can tell they're all about the same.
Shark S600 or AGV basic would be about the best sub £100 you'll find.

My experience recently:
I was in a hurry to get a helmet so went to the local shop and started trying on helmets. Most were rejected on poor fit. I settled on the MT Revenge as it was the comfiest. I think I paid about £50 - got a discount for using their training partner. Since then it has been Sharp tested and got 5 stars.
Later I got a more expensive AGV K-3, labelled a size smaller than the MT. It has 4 Sharp stars. I find both helmets very similar in fit, weight, features and noise.
When the vents on the AGV are open at speed I find it uncomfortable, so the MT helmet gets used most times.
I would like my next helmet to be quieter at speed, but don't know how to find this out, without actually wearing it out there.

I think I'm going to go for the Box BX-1 scope. Tried it on, nice design, seems comfortable, much lighter than the one I've got and only £50.
