Finally passed all the last tests on Monday this week... CBT, followed by theory, then Mod 1 & 2 on the same day. Its a lot of effort but is it worth it... yes! I understand it has to be tough otherwise people would be throwing themselves into bushes all over the place but. Being 33 you'd think its just a case of having a couple of lessons then away you go... how wrong I was. M&D training in Guildford gave me the basics for my CBT, Mod 1/2 and good reports about them..

Still, done now and have after spending 500 miles on a honda 125 (pre mod 1/2) i have now bought a 2008 sv650. Hopefully it will see me through for years to come. I am Based in Guildford so hope to bump into a few 650 riders in weeks to come.

Welcome to the madhouse.

Get thee to the Guildford massive too, seem to be waking up with the warmer (touch wood) weather.

If you feel you want some more training there is a good fairly cheap bike group here near reading. You meet once a month, go on rides with an observer who gives you tips to improve etc. Pm me if you want to know more, well worth it!

Welcome. Top marks from me for any one who makes it through the crystal maze of license attainment nowadays.
Be good to see you join a us on a GM rideout at some point. Bring money for tea. :-)

Hi mate, welcome. Have a look in the Guildford Massive section, locals go out most Sundays if its not miserable, if you happen to work wierd shifts I normally have a day or two off mid week. I need to get out riding this summer after last years wash out.
