does anyone else try keep themselves busy to stop thinking about something?
or keep themselves busy to tell themselves they have things to do in their life?
once I finished work and I rush home at a 50-60mph pace on a national speed limit dual carriage way. When I get home I realize I actually have nothing to do until the next day at work.

Yes, I'm in that process right now, but even when I'm busy its impossible to stop thinking about it, just less obvious when I'm busy
At work i'm busy all day long, so i look forward to going home and doing very little. The weekends are when i am busy in a social way/productive way.

I struggle to just sit about doing nothing. Even holidays require constant activity. No laying by the pool.
Yoga was a struggle when I was meant to be switching off while we meditated and I'd be constantly reminded that 'one is a human being not a human doing'.

I have a very busy job/home life, so grabbing some time to just sit/lie there and chill out is very rewarding, yet very rare too.

Sometimes I get the feeling that everything in life is just "keeping busy" or marking time but I don't know until what?

Time to get hobbies guys? When you're not on the bike, find something which makes you tick :)

I bake. I don't eat cakes so I then have to force them onto other people.
Just have kids. You'll never have free time to worry about filling up ever again; or spare cash to wonder how to spend etc etc etc. However I wouldn't be without them now and wonder what I used to do with all that spare time and cash.
I play a lot of video games, so any free time is spent either riding or gaming. >.<

yeah I used to play alot of games but now i find them boring and hard to get into.
Although I do want kids now i have a stable job etc, I need to find a suitable partner, which seems to be hard to find in england.
