Do They fit a sv650s k5? And Why upgrade?

They won't for the sv without adaptor brackets. They're for gsxr front ends. These are spares as I already have some fitted.

Would these fit a K4/ GSXR 1000 front end? Thx

Nobbylad

I don't think so as I think the K4 discs are 300mm?

Also the part numbers are different.

I was looking at converting my k9 sv to four port calipers, but the only adaptor I can find is for the k1-k3 GSXR 600 calipers. Where would I find an adaptor for yours, also if you have them on your bike do you have any pics.

Would braided lines from the SV calipers fit onto these? If so and Nutsinatin doesn't take them ill have them off you mate.

these are radial callipers people there are no brackets to fit them to SV forks.

Ah I see, I retract my earlier comment then, sorry mate.

GHollis

That was my thoughts but I thought another cleaver person had made a new adaptor.

you can get radial to traditional brackets but not for the SV and they are mega expensive.

the other brackets that Zoran sell are for the earlier 4pot traditional mounting e.g. 'lug type'.

be very careful what callipers you look at buying as there are two sizes and if i remember one is 90mm and the other is 72mm pitch it's the smaller of the two that fits Zorans brackets.

sorry for the derail Nobby.

Can you advise me what year/model the GSXR calipers are off, as a mate of mine may be interested in them.

They fit K7 GSXR 750 and whatever other models are compatible. What bike has he got?

Edited: k7 750

He has been wanting to upgrade the brakes on his 98 TL1000.

they wont fit unless he's putting later radial forks on

Apparently you can buy machined brackets from a man with a shed (Sam), so you are able to fit radial calipers to normal TL forks.
