View Full Version : Black hugger on blue SV650S?

i have a black rear hugger on my sv650s, but the bike is blue.
I was wondering, if people think it would look better blue?
how would i go about painting it ?

IMHO, black looks better.
Blue will optically add to size of rear part of motorcycle, which is not good.

Look at other bikes (not only sv650s) , rear huggers are almost always black/carbon

heres mine. I think looks good. but thats my opinion. I had a white sv650, which looked better with black one

My naked, blue Curvy has a black (carbon lookie-likey) hugger.
Kiggles' above looks sweet, although I think I prefer black.

Black for me too. Agree it looks good with the black frame.

I think only looks better if you have a black frame. To mix the silver black with the blue looks a bit odd to me, two tone looks best i think. Here's my black framed with a black hugger

The nice thing with black is that it almost blends in/disappears

yeah i have the same as you daddyjob.. but i was just wondering how it looked with the blue thanks guys :)
think i will leave it black save myself some money

anyone ever put a front fender extender on by anychance?

look at previous pictures of the bikes both mine and dkid's and daddyjob have them fitted. Apart from i put some extra rubber at the bottom of mine. they easy to fit.
