i don't think it's fair that they get to keep reserves while everyone else is depleting theirs.

None of OPEC's business to tell them what to do. Only thing they could do is convince them to do it by price rises... but why would they drive away their business?

I'm confused. Is America holding on to its oil now? Last I heard their oil and gas production was expanding so massively that they expect to be self-sufficient in a decade. That's bad news if you're an OPEC member.

Not that bad news, china and indias markets are expanding more than fast enough to compensate.
