As has been featured in a few threads now, namely braindeads thread here is the official for sale thread for me Naked 54 Plate SV650n
I'm after offers over £1600 for a forum member to ride this away, read the following as you get a hell of a lot for that money.
Vital Stats:
3 Months MOT (Will be sold with 12)
12 Months Tax (EXP 31.03.14)
~23500miles on the clock
HPI Clear
At 23000miles I stripped this bike bare and did the following service work:
I cleaned the frame up and all stripped parts, inspected and replaced worn parts as required,
Removed every bolt and re-tapped the threads on the frame,
Removed every bearing and replaced with new ones (wheels, swinger, shock, headstock),
Rebuilt the bike with copper slip and thread lock all bolts torqued up as per Haynes,
Removed and scrapped the silver tail plastics & replaced with black ones (silver showed wear),
Fitted Iridium Spark Plugs,
K&N Air Filter,
Replaced the Oil Filter,
Filled with New Castrol 1 Racing Oil,
Valve Clearances Checked and Adjusted to Mid Tolerance,
TPS Adjusted to engage FI at 1800RPM,
Idle set to 1450RPM (at temp),
Secondary Throttle Valves Opened,
Throttle Bodies Balanced at Idle (maintained at 5000RPM),
Fitted brand new clutch and throttle cables,
Front and Rear callipers stripped bare, ultrasonic cleaned and rebuilt,
Fresh Brake Fluid,
Fresh Coolant,
Clutch Mechanism Replaced,
Chain and Sprocket set Replaced,
Tyres are barely broken in.
During the rebuild I included to following general aesthetic upgrades:
Seat Cowl, Grab Handle included along with the OEM Pillion Seat,
Installed LED indicator Mirrors,
Fitted Scorpion Slip on Stubby Pipe (Includes a Baffle),
R&G tail tidy fitted,
Fitted 8x6 Number plate (MOT Plate included),
R&G Crash Bungs,
Rear Hugger in Black to match tail plastics and cowl/handle, (NB Tank is still silver)
Fitted Front Mudguard Black,
In Addition to the above I’ve upgraded/modified the following:
Upgraded the Rear Shock to ZXR 636R,
Installed Progressive Fork Springs and completed Full Fork service, new oil and Seals,
Installed a scottoiler V system direct to the rear sprocket,
Installed Oxford Sport Heated Grips,
Installed Easton Wide FatBars (Advertised as unbreakable/unbendable guarantee),
A few people showing interest in this so I wanted to get all the info down in one place.
The bike is available to view at any time in WF16
