Hyperthetical at the moment but I've just been trying to think which bike I would like to swap to in the future. Happy with the SV but I'm not in the position both monetary or in terms of storage for 2 bikes.
The obvious candidates for me would be either a Ninja or Daytona 675, mainly as I like the looks of both of them. With me being still fairly new to biking I've no idea what other options are out there or whats a decent bike but I'm sure that there are numerous other options that I've not even considered as I'm only really aware of the 'big name' bikes.
So come on guys, post up your suggestions. Doesn't have to a sports/sports tourer bike either I'd consider any type of road bike.
Well, to be in keeping with the forum, it must be a triumph. If you want to know about living with a d675, drop Tonyk a message as he has one.

I'm looking at V-Strom, Tiger, Versys etc for my next machine, not that I don't like my SV, but even with the handle bar conversion, I'm still not 100% with it. Money doesn't allow me to have something different for maybe a year or so.
Really do like the look of the Tiger 800, if I had 7.5k sloshing around, I'd be seriously looking and that bike.

Is there something about the SV that you would change? Maybe if you have an idea about that you can get a good pointer at what to look at?

Always liked a green Kwak and to be honest I remember reading your thread a while back when you got that bike and made me realise what a nice looking bike it is and wanted one even more!

Nothing really but I would like to do more touring and carrying pillion and although I've not done any on the SV as yet, think I'd need something more substantial for that. Otherwise I love it.
I take pillions on my sv, no problems, even with a 15 stone lump of a mate. No great distance though.

Although that looks out of my price range, that's the sort of suggestion I'm after, something I've never seen or considered.

KTM needs some love in this thread. I'd cream myself for this. Would rather have the SMT but they aren't cheap.

Love me some SM's but if you do distance a lot youll be screwed.
Love me some kawasaki though prefer the sm's.
