Purchased an sv maybe a month and a half ago.My first large bike so bare with my stupidity ;). I know that the sv's engine will cut out if its too cold which is fair enough but mine will cut out say if im at traffic lights and want to give the throttle a bit and intimidate some OAP's http://forums.sv650.org/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif it has a tendency to just cut out, i was wondering if this could be something to do with the fact my 33bhp restrictor kit uses plates in the injectors and a throttle restricor.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I wouldn't know about the restrictor but you could check the operation of the side stand cut out, my dad had a problem with a GSXR that cut out when he revved it, and it turned out the spring holding the side stand up was worn and when he revved it the stand moved just enough to cut the engine out, but then would restart fine afterwards. Good luck!

What details do you have regarding the bike.
Year model etc.
Does the bike run fine the rest of the time, is it purely if you blip the throttle that it dies?

If it's fuel injected, check the throttle position sensor (TPS)

Its a k6 sv650s, it seems to be if i blip the throttle quickly it will cut out if i bring thr revs up slowly to 2k maybe and blip it from there then its ok, really appreciate the help guys :)
Definitely do the TPS adjustment. I had the same problem (minus the restrictor)
What is it idling at? If it's significantly below 1,500rpm I'd raise that.
