just a bit weird that the 7.5t restriction is either side of the bridge, but then in order for a 7.5t vehicle to take appreciation of that sign it would have needed to contravene the preceding 7.5t sign in order to see it. Plus it's so faded that you can barely see the 7.5t truck icon in the background.... Adam. ;)

The 7.5t restriction is from the lights at Water End by the RSPCA Paul, to stop heavy goods vehicles trying to negotiate the narrow residential one-way at that end of Leeman Road. It is not to prevent over-height vehicles trying to make the bridge, that is dealt with by height warning triangle.

Looks like this fella missed the weight restriction sign.... :rolleyes:

The height limit isn't just for vehicles over 7.5 tonnes, it's for anything over that height plus the legislation that requires height limits on bridges is independent of that covering 7.5 tonne vehicles on roads.
