I had to travel down for my Mothers wedding, so it was there and back in one day. Carol took some photos of our trip.

Yes, I did wear my Streetfighters Hoody to the wedding and yes I kept my leathers on the whole time. :smt041

The highlight of the trip was the ferry (floating bridge?) across the Tamar on the way there and then back again. Although it did not make sense as to why we were charged for the first journey, but not the second. :thumbsup:
In total we clocked up two hundred and thirty miles which is the longest trip I have ever done in one day on my bike. I really enjoyed the riding, the wedding though... :smt105

I can do that in my sleep, ive done nearly 400 miles in one day a few times going to cornwall from Manchester

The riding was great, but I have a damaged shoulder that makes a ride of more than five miles very painful, which was the only thing to make the journey hard. Once the shoulder is fixed, I can feel a nice long Euro trip coming on one day. :smt041

Looking fab Jayne, good on ya outfit! Sounds like a right trek for you really but be proud you managed it. Not easy with any niggling injury but shoulders are crappy :( Looks like you had fairly decent weather too!

:) I know how you feel with the pain, always got entire back aching riding distance's, followed by the next day of being stuck in bed with pain.
lucky, I wish I still had a bike and i'd join you on a eurotrip sister sweary.
