Wrote my bike off a few weeks ago and am about 6 hours from picking my new one up.

Boy do I have butterfly's. ..

HOpe they go away when I get on her. Didn't realise how much it has knocked my confidence lol.

Get back in the saddle :p

Confidence will come back over time.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Just take it easy and build yourself back up slowly. Stick to roads you know initially and then start going further afield once your confidence comes back!
And remember... Pics of the new bike when you get her home!
All the best.

My mint condition 2100 miles on the clock fully faired scrumdiddlyumptios candy blue k3 rocks...

WObbled round the first corner but within 5 minutes I was back in the groove.

HAve however certainly learned to leave more distance between myself and the car in front lol.

DUnno about others and not sure what pads it has but the pointy front break seems to have 10 times the bite of a curvy. .. thats really gonna take some getting used too.

GOnna give it a week then I will post my full thoughts on tge differences. For once unbiased as I loved the looks of both of my bikes equally :-)

WOrth writing? On PC of course as opposed to phone lol.

I've suffered massive confidence loss myself so know exactly how you feel, it does get better.

Good luck with the new ride :)

This

Had a big confidence loss after the last one.
Three long-ish rides and and race round Scotland seems to have got it back

Same, I still haven't got all my confidence back after my 1st off. Broke my collar bone and thought I lost a lot of the strength and still working my way up to my old confidence level.

Take it easy and go at your own pace, it will come back eventually once you get to know your new bike.

I lost confidence along time ago
I did a curcuit based training day at Mallory park & it did the trick
all the best
