Do you guys (and grls) ride with PMR radios?

Seem to have lost mine at the mo, but it was useful when riding with friends.

I have a Bluetooth interphone on my lid. Got auto com for when I go out with my dad. Don't know of anyone else in the GM with an inter phone, so mainly use it for music on long journeys.

I was just thinking what happens when the group gets split up cos traffic lights change, someone needs petrol / a bog / ice cream etc.

This sort of thing, but many different makes on a similar theme:

As Gav said, Marker system keeps people in check, petrol we make sure we all have enough range. If not the international sign for 'i need petrol' is pointing at your tank, it gets back to the leader. Bog, again, it gets passed forward that we need to stop. We very rarely need to stop on a ride as we are usually well prepared before setting off.

Hmm... Gav marking in November last year. At least two of us went the wrong way as he wasn't paying attention and was making odd gestutres that were offputting as opposed to clear instructions for those following. God help us.

I've got an autocom system, not used it for a while though. Bought it when I used to a sort of bike courier job. Need to buy a Bluetooth adapter for it to work with my iPhone, used to use it with my Nokia 3310 that's how old it is!

If all else fails we get fallout to send up smoke signals.
