SOLD. Thanks for all your interest. I had tears in my eyes as the new owner rode it away :(

The general condition of the bike is very good. It is a clean machine. However, it is a typical Suzuki, and the forks have some minor areas of corrosion as well as the passenger grab rail. I have kept the bike covered in ACF-50 since I’ve owned it, and this has stopped the corrosion getting any worse.

Also, it was blown over when the previous owner owned it. The scratches aren’t too bad as the crash protectors took the brunt. They didn’t bother me, as I thought I’d probably drop it while getting my riding back up to speed (I didn’t!). The scratches in no way affect the handling of the bike.

In terms of maintenance, I do all the minor jobs myself at Oval Motorcycle Workshop, as I trust myself to do a better job than most mechanics. For major jobs, I get a highly recommended mobile mechanic to do it. He works cash in hand, so I do not have a receipt for most of the work, but he has stamped the book where he did the last service. There is no maintenance to do for another 2000 miles.

All in all, its a lovely machine. If I could afford to run 2 bikes, I’d keep it. The Aftermarket exhaust sounds excellent, and grumbles just like a proper v-twin should. I hope that this bike goes on to make its new owner as happy as I was with it.

I’ve been completely honest and I am not out to rip anyone off. This is a genuinely lovely machine and I will be sad to see it go.

No test rides will be offered without the full amount of cash handed over and proof of insurance.

Bike is located in SW London and can be viewed evenings after 7:30pm and all day at weekends.

High res pix available on request.

I will only reply to serious offers, so please do not be offended if I do not reply.

Mileage might go up very slightly as I will use the bike, but it won’t be more than a few miles here and there.

Lovely machine and at last, one that's sensibly priced. That will sell no problem. Good luck with the sportsbike! You'll never look back... well, maybe you will but only occasionally.

200 miles - thats nothing! I bought it from someone 300 miles away from me and rode it home... After 10 years of not being on a bike it was quite an adventure :) :)
