View Full Version : SW Motech Alu Rack & Givi E470 topbox

For sale is a rare second hand SW Motech Alu Rack for pointy SV models.
These really are a neat solution for mounting a top box to your SV without all the ugly scaffolding associated with other racks.

It comes with a Givi E470 monolock top box (double skinned, so stronger than most monolock boxes).

The Alu rack is in good condition structurally but may benefit from a quick blow over from a rattle can of black hammerite (see pics). It is mounted in place of the grab rail using the existing grab rail bolts. There are some other fixings that SW motech specify but these were not present when I bought the rack second hand and are not supplied in the sale.

I have used the rack with only the grab rail bolts in place and it was fine. The Givi top box is in good used condition showing some light signs of use near the latch and has one very slight scuff on one side (see pics). Comes with one key.

New, this lot would cost well over £270.
I'm asking for £70 + postage for the lot. I'd rather sell all together but will consider selling separately.

I was gonna pm you and offer you immediate payment, but then I realised that I have one of these already and a Givi box to go with it. The box alone is worth nearly as much as your selling this stuff for and the rack is THE best luggage solution for the pointy...end of.

Forget those nasty GIVI arm racks that look fugly...these SW Motech racks are the dogs danglies.

Yeah defo a bargain. It's priced to sell as its in my way a bit here at the moment. eBay price would have been a bit higher but I like to sell to fellow orgers. Obviously condition and the missing fixings make a difference to the price as well.

What you got your eye on for your next bike Tom?
