ps - you have to be sat still in the seat, with legs strapped in and only using your arms for any form of input.....not bad for a T4 Paraplegic!

The fact that you can ride at all is amazing enough in itself,
But to ride at those lean angles is mix of crazy, heroic, awe inspiring and insane all together!

You'll love Donington. If you only remember one thing, don't roll off going down the Craner Curves. If you do you load up the front and that's when it tucks underneath and you fall. You can keep a neutral throttle just don't chop it as you tip left. Also, going back up the hill you can keep it pinned all the way up. I used standard 15front 45rear and it was fine for gearing. Carry your corner speed for the straights and you will surprise many other riders on larger capacity bikes.

I'll start by saying the picture's brilliant, the angle is intense and the gear looks very cool :)
I'll now say that, for most, this level of lean on the same stretch of track is probably unnecessary - not wrong in any way - just not necessary, as the same thing requiring you to pull this lean angle is the same thing that means others won't need to do this.
Your legs obviously need to be strapped in and your bar inputs as stated are the only means of steering with you sat upright. So you're demonstrating a lot of skill maintaining the lean, whereas I could shift my weight to get the same turn in and less chance of losing grip at the front.
So on the same track I don't think I would need to go that low.
However, it still looks impressive no matter which way you look at it!

Lean angle of the bike isn't that far over to be fair, it's just that the rider is abseiling off the side of it a hell of a lot.
Talans actual bike looks to be leant over further IMHO.

You're absolutely right, if I could shift my weight off the saddle I wouldn't need to get the bike over so far in order to corner at the same speed. It means I will reach a point where I can't go any faster as I run out of tyre. At least folk can see that the bike will actually make it that far and not let go.

Yep, the K-lever 2 system allows for front and rear braking on the right hand side. However, I am yet to get good enough to actually brake with the rear in a race, so leave it alone. It needs to be there for ACU regulations and scrutineering.

I use an electronic gear shifter to change gear, which has buttons on the handle bars and an electronic solenoid located over the gear lever. I get launched from the back of the grid with two helpers, so I always have to start from the back of the grid and make my way through the slower riders.

If you look at my left foot you can see a metal cylinder, that is the gear shifter, and on the bars will be the buttons. Feet are held in place with tow clips and velcro, the knees have velcro straps onto the patch where the knee slider would have been.

Joking aside, huge respect for riding like that! I would struggle enough without having to worry about being in a race!
