Hi all. Anyone have an idea on what I should be looking at paying for a Kawasaki 440 ltd custom? It's been in a shed for 14 years so really being sold for spares or a project. Is it worth anything? I'd just like to get my hands on a cheap project.

Projects end up typically costing more than the money spent on the initial vehicle by some way. Pick something you want to build at the end, and anything that's sat static for that long could need extensive rebuilding, I'd be thinking token money, if not just offering to take it away.

That said the guys over at "The Bike Shed (http://thebikeshed.cc/)" have shown some really nice, stripped down bikes made from some very unlikely donor vehicles for very little money.

Maybe a hundred quid if the tyres are good

Yup as above all projects end up costing more and taking more time than expected so factor that in

I'd break it, you'd have to have a cast-iron reason to resurrect it. More correctly, I'd stay at home!
