So...

I've been out of the UK on and off since AR11, now we're coming back to the UK in time for AR13

The mighty KTM has sat in the garage pretty much untouched. not even much use since the big trip to Morocco in 2010:

She'll need an MOT to get to the AR, last time she went for an MOT she blew a hole in the exhaust half a mile from the centre - tester's face on arrival said it all...

She's been on an Optimate 24/7, and twice when I've been in the UK she's fired up first time without any issues

So, in best Banzai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banzai_(TV_series)) tradition:

Thanks for the vote of confidence dude... :p

Oh, and by "Advisories" I'm not counting the one she get's every time we go in:

You get advisories for what my tester considers an essential safety feature!

Strange people in that there south.

I'm going to go with yes, because I want you to get to the AR.

Absolutely no problem whatsoever, I asked my faith healer to pray for it and he assures me it will be better than ever, only £25 too - bargain MOT prep money that is.

If my BMW can go through with no advisories, then yours should be signed off before you've even parked up :p

I'm appreciating all the support in this thread, feelin' the love...

I'll show "Katie" the thread before we go for the MOT, show her people believe in her...

In which case, Fail.

Seized front brakes. This may and or may not have happened to me when I took a bike for an MOT that had been sat in a garage for 6 months doing nothing.

I've been home once every six months or so and gave the brakes and clutch a good squeezing (giggidy) so hopefully moved the pistons around enough that they haven't died

Home in a few days, will take her out for a naughty test run up and down the street - if I don't reply I've probably died in a huge fireball after the front brake stopped working...

I survived!!!

Front brakes were squealing like a piggy so had to get a bit of copperslip in there...

Other than that she's looking good, forgotten how vicious that v-twin engine was...

Gave her a wash, not seen much of that since... erm... 2010 - oh dear...

Front spokes are a bit corroded but structurally I think they're OK

Insurance now sorted

Monday is a go...

COOL, see you later this week sweetie

Looking forward to it sugar...

Anyway... The man from VOSA he say YES!!!

Just the normal exhaust advisories (nearside and offside this time;)) plus one for the front spokes being slightly corroded - that was there two years ago

Thankfully the bent rim they picked up then seems to have sorted itself out... :D

Now, predictably, the DVLA online tax disk system is refusing to recognise the details from my V5 so we'll just have to ride into town and get one... ;)
