Judging by the "Wanted New Engine" thread, I'm going to guess not as far as you planned?

Bad times dude, I know them well.

Lol. Yeah not the best ending on Anglesey. I zig zagged my way through England and Wales covered just under 2.5 tanks of fuel and about 410 miles then death of engine. Have you got anything to help the cause squidge? :)

Which bit of the engine is gone? Cam chains or top end should be rebuildable, if its the big end I'd be looking on eBay for a replacement lump. Its possible but not really worth it to strip and rebuild for that. As for spare engines, not got one at the moment.

Big end so I need the lump. If you hear of any you know I'm looking :)

I think I do have a spare crank somewhere. But it wouldn't be quick to get and then you'll need to set the end float and then build it with a new gasket set. Works out about the same as a replacement lump if you do the work yourself. If you're not up for a rebuild then just swap the engine. Will keep an eye out for you.

I think a new lump might test my ability as I've never done it before lol.
