Just a few snaps from my recent trip round Scotland, not in any particular order.

I know Frimley Green is actually 698 miles from John O Groats but that's how many miles i done to get there.

This was a tame section of this supposed road before it came to an abrupt end (the map lied).

Timed the trip just right. It was raining everywhere but the north tip of Scotland.

First tour of Scotland but the father has been on pretty much every Scottish road. The first picture is on the west coast somewhere and the last was again the west coast but somewhere northern of Inverness. I really need to have a look at a map and figure out some more precise locations haha. The great thing about Northern Scotland is no matter where you go, the scenery is always breathtaking.

Looks awesome. I'm off to Scotland the first week of July with my dad. Route sorted, just need to sort accommodation.

i like to see old classic bikes still being used and not locked away in some garage only to be looked at or taken to some bike show or other. well done to your dad.

The triple is a great bike.
Nothing can live with it !!!!!!!!!!
It is just so much fun but also too full on.
Had a 1200 Bandit before.
Need to act my age and just enjoy the ride rather than scream about too often.
Tyres are too expensive !
I really missed the lack of a fairing especially after the long, very long winter.
Also with the high exhausts I was unable to use my soft panniers.

Always been a fan of Scotland from when I was a kid. Started mountain biking, loved it more. And now with a motorised bicycle, it's even better again. The dad was hoping to reach the quarter million mile mark on the Velocette when we were up there but alas, still about another K short.

Lovely pics, another shout for where the first two are taken please. YC and I are heading up far north Scotland in July, if the weather's as good as you've had it we'll be happy bunnies. I've been lucky with good weather for my trip up earlier in the month, twice could be pushing it!

I have almost the same pic from years ago. Not far from Durness, Smoo Cave.

The second one has me stumped, but I do recognise it. [edit] Ah, its further down the Bealach Na Ba looking down towards Kishorn. Oops!

You sir, are correct. We stayed a night in Applecross but where in a rush to get to the pub before they stopped wearing grub. Went back across the Bealach Na Ba the following morning and spent a lot more time admiring the views.

Great pics!! Thanks for sharing!
Very nice looking curvy as well!

What's that Dad's riding?
An early 60's Velocette Venom ???

Murley.

A 1955 Venom 500 (think its a 55 anyway). He's been riding it hard for the past 35 years. Puts a massive grin on your face when you ride it.
