Hey all,

Accidentally crushed my pull throttle cable at weekend when it got stuck in the lock stop. I have done a handlebar conversion and bought naked switchgear.

So I need to get a new cale, except I can't find anywhere online that lists naked cables only s ones. BTW DOES ANYONE HAVE ONE FOR SALE?

What i can find for a reasonable price is a vstrom throttle tube and cable assembly. I figured this would be long enough, has anyone used vstrom cables in a conversion?

Cheers

Dean

Possibly - depends on what bike you've got.

But we don't know that.

Yeah that may help. Apologies I have a 2003 pointy

I've use vstrom housing and cables on my pointy. they're very long. I looped them round in the frame before going to the throttle bodies.

did this 3000k miles ago, no issues.
