Hello, tried to find out on other threads but cannot find any relevant. I am looking at trying to get a paddock stand for about £20 so I can do some cleaning/maintenance.

I found this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OXFORD-HEAVY-DUTY-MOTORCYCLE-MOTORBIKE-UNIVERSAL-REAR-TRACK-RACE-PADDOCK-STAND-/380535842107?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5899b4253b

but when I bought the bike he said that he put on paddock bobbins, would I need to buy the bobbin forks too?

Or will I be able to just pull the bike up on the swing arm thing?

If anyone knows of a better options please tell :)

Cheers!

This will do the job fine. If you have bobbins you can buy bobbin hooks but they are not essential, just get them later. In the meantime you can lift under the swing arm.

i'd suggest getting a stand with bobbin forks. the paddle type is a pita on sv or any bike with the rear caliper below swingarm.

I've got one of those, works fine on my pointed one as is, not yet fitted bobbin forks.

I've got the same one.

+1 on bobbin forks!

But they are not essential for the time being
