Hi

Next weekend I'm heading to london from cambridge direction with a mate and we're looking for a fun route down?

Dont really fancy the M11 all the way.

All I can seem to come up with is A10 most of the way, but is it still a bit boring?

cheers
Dan

Forest hill. That looks like a decent alternative.

(This part is bacward to the Comfort cafe yummy food)
Grate Dunmow
You can go past Garrets wood ,but that a bit windy and thin
Goes to leaden roding onto A1060.

Head to Saffron Walden, Great Dunmow and just before you reach the Triumph dealership there's a good road brings you out near Ongar and follow it though from there.

cheers guys, a mate of mine suggested a pretty similar route to lph. Should definately be more interesting than motorway. My mate is heading down from stafford, so I think he's gonna be pretty sore by the time we get there!
