Hi guys, a bit of a lead on from my last thread about getting LED indicators. First of all it's an 05 Pointy, aftermarket bulb indicators on the front, now has led indicators with resistors on the back and a Meta 357t v2 alarm immobiliser.

So after much swearing and discovering that some idiot had poorly connected an assortment of small sections of wire together instead of 1 Long piece between the indicators and where they plug into the bike :( so before I swapped the rear indicators the alarm was working fine and you could activate or deactivate it at any time etc 1 beep for de activated and 2 for alarmed and the indicators would flash the same amount of times as it beeped. Now the indicators don't flash, it has 2 beeps for alarmed and 4 for de alarmed :S also it seems you can only alarm it a few seconds after turning the ignition off, then it waits a couple of seconds and the alarm noise just sounds continuously. Once that's been turned off nothing happens when you press the fob button to try and alarm it again.

Anyone have any ideas what's causing this? Could it be having Led indicators or resistors in the circuit? Would getting a different indicator relay to correct the flash rate instead of resistors solve the problem? I'm not very good with electrics and wiring so any ideas are greatly appreciated :D sorry for the essay, I hope it mostly makes sense!

Cheers

there might be a live wire touching the frame somewhere. go over your wiring.
