Using shorty levers?

Hey all,

I hope this is the right forum for this kind of question!

So I currently have a set of OEM levers on my 650S and i'm thinking of moving on to a set of stubbies.

My main concern is, my OEM levers are quite tough on the wrists at the best of times: after a good 40mins or so of decent use in heavy traffic I usually end up with sore wrists and my clutch control becomes less smooth consequently.

Is it even tougher on the wrist/hands using stubbies? Do you literally use two fingers? or can you fit more fingers on them?

Would people recommend them over standard length levers?

Style thing.

Cable tension determines effort in using the clutch

BUT

Adjustable levers allow you to bring the clutch lever in, so less distance to travel = less effort to pull i.e. less pain. Stubbies can be adjustable.

Folding levers are best survivors in a crash. Extendable / foldable / adjustable levers offer a bit of everything. You'll never need another lever. Ever.

For all that the china stubbys cost get a pair stick them in and see what you think you can always flog them on if your not a fan.
I can fit three fingers on my stubby lever with ease but normally its just one or two.
And just to ask you sure its the levers hurting the wrists? And not bad posture and too much pressure on the wrist in slow riding? Could be worth while looking into some handlebar rasiers or using the legs/core more to help keep the weight of the wrist.
