Heres my comfort kit, used on my bike, I'd forgotten how uncomfortable the clipons where until the last few days without this.

SV650N bars mounted on a S top yoke.
Longer, braided brake lines, with bolts.
DL650 throttle cables and housing.
DL650 Clutch Cable.
Bibos switch gear extensions.

Every thing you need to go from clip ons to bars and get some comfort.

£140.

Allow a full day for fitting and adjusting throttle/clutch and bleeding brakes.

Collection from Rotherham.
Get me and the Mrs a take away and I can spend the day to help fit.

Has everyone already done this conversion? I've no idea how those of you that haven't manage to ride the bike.

Waist up aches from riding to work with the old clip ons on.

Oh and bump.

This is the best mod on the SV without a doubt. Not difficult to fit and at a good price too. I couldn't ride my bike with clip ons again.

Snap, can't believe no one has bitten my hand off to get some comfort.

Not so sure I agree lol. If I wanted this I would of bought an er6f with factory designed geometry.

Just a thought :)

Makes it same as the SV650N essentially, but with the better (IMO) looks of the SV650S so no problems with the geometry.

ER6F does look nice, but I get my VStrom at the end of the week :D

Anywho it did the trick for me, my expensive mistake was taking a vstrom out at the bike safe show and deciding that I need one.

Mmmm they are nice. I may well rethink my opinion on clip ons by tomorrow night lol. Bradford to Ipswich and back in a day :(

My bum hurts just thinking about it, never mind my back and wrists! !

It's a shame the lines etc need to be changed otherwise it would be nice to be able to quickly switch from one to the other depending on the ride. I'll be over Bradford way on Friday, Buttershaw. Bradford to Ipswich and back in a day is going to hurt :D good luck.

For reference I done a 14 hour day with the flat bars last month. I was in agony but mostly my knees and my dodgy shoulder.

Sure, no problem. You local to Rotherham?

Pointy right? A naked top yoke will do if you can get one. Buy a full kit or get parts from other bikes can be cheaper.
