Gang bang?
well Tom, Jam & I did discuss about doing a monthly weekend away thing. Just pop over to a destination on a Friday/Saturday. Camp the night(s) & then hop back on Sunday. No destination far away, circa 100 miles so it isn;t a treck and you can take the fun roads getting there

Biffa has my tent. Do they do new tents in extra lank? I'm fed up of sleeping diagonally and still face-mating with the plastic.

Maybe our first mission should be a GM "go outdoors" ride out?

FWIW, my Vango Omega 350 fits a 190cm long bed where the sleeping height is about 2ft off floor level. The spec sheet says it's 7 feet at ground level, so you should be good if you hang your feet out in the porch :p

Maybe we could all climb in together and see how they hold up.
I'm sure the store wouldn't mind.

will be good on a quiet day, been there a few times and caught it when it was vaguely quiet.

Wasn't much about traffic wise today. I tend to hang back at the bottom and try not to set off until I haven't seen a car pass in the direction I'm headed for a good minute or two. Then it's a go :)

do you start off at the shops end?

Looks like cheddar gorge to me!
do you start off at the shops end?
Yeah then head uphill as I find it more fun as you're on the throttle a lot more than if you were heading downhill towards the shops. There's a good run straight out the top of the gorge which takes in the mendip hills, chew valley etc.

Is that a new bike stand to help Tom keep his upright on the grass?
