Tyre Fitting

Hi,
I'm in need of two new tyres on the bike and i'm looking for somewhere reasonable in Surrey to do it.

Ideally i'm looking for Pirelli Diablo Stradas as I do quite a lot of commuting and the wheels will be on the bike - Steve Jordan in Leatherhead want £60 to fit the tyres, if I supply them, which I think is a lot!

Any help is much appreciated.

£60 - I don't think that's very much for wheels on the bike.

If you buy the tyres elsewhere, they're not going to give their work away so you can save a few quid by taking business they'd like to someone else?

£50 seems to be the going price around Oxford for both tyres, ride in ride out if you take your own. That's why I've started changing mine at home.

Have you bought the tyres yet? Most places that supply and fit tyres, the price advertised includes fitting so phone around and get prices on pairs of tyres. You never know you might find a bargain.

I see your in Surrey, I have 2 paddock stands you could borrow, pop the wheels off and get the tyres fitted at Guildford tyres for £10 a wheel. If you own a car to take them there that is

£10 per loose wheel is what you want to be paying. There are 2 places i go to get tyres fitted at that price, tyre fitters in Bagshot & RIde In at Reading

If someone does changes for £10 each tyre, on the bike but bought elsewhere they're a mug.

Strange. A little over two months ago I paid a bit over £40 for fitting tyres at SJ

I'd take them in loose anyway if possible. Piece of mind for rear wheel alignment/chain adjustment and all that, and save yourself £40 by the sounds of it.
