Hi,
Am I right in thinking that the wheels are the same on the sv's through the years?
Thanks, jay.

I cant see much difference from looking at pictures, I think it will be a case of different spacers. Just got some cheap for a spare set of intermediates. So long as I can swap between pointy and curvy wheels.
Thanks, jay.

I believe the rear wheels are the same physical piece with different spacers & bearings, the front wheels are different as they have different hub widths (discs on the curvy are dished rather than flat)

Nice one, thanks.
I think I should be able to get them to fit. Front wheels arent usually too much of a problem, its the rear wheel that can be tricky. So long as the sprocket hub lines up the shouldnt be too bad.
Thanks, jay.

I put an '09 front on my '00.
The hub is wider, so I had to move the speed sensor to the rear wheel. I used the right rear spacer (replaced by the speed sensor) in the front, and had to shorten both it and the original right front spacer.
Also had to shave some off the rear brake hanger, since the speed sensor is wider than the original spacer.

Thanks mate, the picture is coming together now. So the older one is narrower, I should be able to nock up some spacers on the lathe no problem. just need to make sure I get it so I can swap from one set of wheels to the other.

Any more details on how you moved the speedo drive please?

Was it hard to adapt the wheels to fit to the pointy?

Oh, I managed to fit the front wheel off a curvy to the pointy with little difficulty. If anyone is interested I'll be happy to post pictures.
