Did my first track evening at brands hatch the other day, what a day it was! I'd recommend it to anyone after experiencing it myself.

Had to wear a crappy high vis as it was my first one but started picking the pace up after a couple of sessions!

Got some great photos from the guys at the stands:

Definitely considering getting a track bike now as it seems very addictive!

Great photos.

I think your mirrors might need looking at though ;-)

Looking good. First knee down as well?

A good track day is the most fun you can have

Yeah first knee down, after the sessions moved on it because like child's play and then I could start planning my lines and pushing it more.

Yeah the mirrors are just distracting so is my speedo so I taped that up as well!

for never having done a track day your riding stance is spot on.

think number 3 pic is a perfect example of counter steer at work or it could just be the camera angle.

Cheers Bibio,

I always have tried to better my riding position on the road by being open to advice but you can certainly harness that on the track.

I've learnt more about what I'm capable of and my bikes capable of in 1 hours worth of track time than years on the road.

Don't get me wrong, road knowledge is still very important but this has improved everything.

I think I'm guna consider buying a aprilia Mille and just track it out for next year!
