Yeah, so...

You try explaining why we've gone with the term Hog-Roast instead ("but we're doing loads of different meats?!").

Aaaaanyway...

The awf'y friendly chaps down at the Buck Inn (http://www.motogoloco.com/buck-inn-ac-39-a-86) asked me to spread the word about their Saturday HOG roast / BBQ's that'll be running from this weekend throughout the summer.

Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Hawes, Whitby and Newcastle - might be a good excuse for a blat, pig out (pardon the horrendous pun) and a natter.

Thoughts?

Was only there last Wednesday . .
I smelt no pig. :(
Half way along Bilsdale TT is a good start for them. Will try to sort a short rideout soon

YES PUNY! I'm interested, tied up with work and stuff for weekends on end til september but the road from helmsley to clay bank lookout point is my favourite in the whole of the uk :) If we can get a few of us together it'd be brilliant :)

Where we were before the pub, we had more 'contact' with sheep ;)
The reference to midweek was for P6's benefit since he isn't allowed out weekends.
Must've done something real bad to get that restriction on his ASBO!

Little pootle round the Moors & back to Chop Gate before the pig disappears.

Anyone for next Saturday ( 17th ) then?
In the absence of company yesterday did about 3 hours, but not back to Chop Gate. Should be able to add an afternoon loop about the same distance. Called in this morning & they said it had been a bit quiet - perhaps something to do with North Yorkshire's Finest's declaration of war on bikers, Friday?
