Bought me a 1999 plate sv650sx. ..is this really a good first bike
Doing my test end of July. .ridden ybr since april ( I've done 3500 since April this year)
Bike has fsh.new rear shock.tyres and service paid £850 ...I'll add some pictures once I've figured out how to. .

I rode a 125 ybr for a year then went for my DAS. Passed and bought a sv650 and I love her. Suppose I've not got much to compare her to other than the bike I learnt on which was a ER650.
I have no regrets tho.
Get out and ride it and you'll soon enough relax and enjoy it! :)

I was riding ybr for around a month and a half and then went for DAS and right after that SV.
Still love it... (two years later). It is pointy & naked though!

You certainly got the better model........not so sure about the colour though ;)

The Curvy is my first bike ever and I love it.........I've done about 10K miles in 8 months so far and still loving it!
