Thinking of swapping standard front forks to ones of a gsxr 600 k1 does any one no if its just a strait swap or do I have to swap yokes aswell? I've got a k9 sv
you will need the lot inc the wheel as with any GSXR swap. you also have to sort the speedo.

Is it worth it? Or am I better off just changing oil and springs?
depends on how you ride and how much you weigh. if your over 12st then it's even new springs time in the GSXR forks.
only reason i have my front end is that i ride a lot of back lanes that are full of pot holes so i don't get my teeth rattled out like you do with the standard front end.

I am 14stone and changing springs and oil helped. I didn't have the money for full front end conversion. Even if i had I would sell sv and buy gsxr ;)

Found this interesting. I am 15 ish stone so would you recommend I change my springs. What about rear shock. The bike is new and my riding will be mainly country road blasts.

After changing the springs at the front I now feel that the rear of the bike is on the soft/bouncy side :(
My bike is K9 with 25k miles
