for the past few years, I have been watching with interest Reaction Engines Ltd and their revolutionary Sabre engine.

£60million of investment could really help launch this as a commercial product. and before anyone harps on about tax payers money. Look what the return the tax payer brought back to the UK through the bail of of Rolls Royce

60 million is a stack of money. At least we only blew 2 million on HOTOL before that got brushed under the carpet.
