For anyone TVAMing so unable to make Tony K's run to Brighton, I'll probably do something after TVAM starting from St.Crispins. Unless it's absolutely boiling in which case I'll probably reconsider.

Main thing is everyones alright. Exhaust defo loose or summat tho, sounds like a tractor!

Exhaust gasket blew out, wont be getting the copper ones again, totally nacked

Where does the exhaust gasket go? On the header pipe?

Yup, to the face of the downpipe between it and the head. Ordered some more, hopefully they wont explode this time.

Weird, you wouldn't think there was that much pressure on them, but then again you were raggin' it for all it was worth. :D

Yeah, but they were replaced like 3000ish miles ago when i painted(pretty unsuccessfully) the downpipes, and just failed all of a sudden. Ah well..
