Has anyone put stomp grips on their bike? I got some as a gift but I've just had a go at lining them up on the tank and I can't see how they'd fit without a huge crease. I've checked and they're definitely for my model SV - they're to fit an 03-09 and I have an 04N.

So yeah, any advice on putting them on or offers of help would be appreciated!

Take the seat off, clean (with something that doesn't leave residue! and dry thoroughly!) the tank and get your hair dryer/heat gun ready for application

Thanks for the picture man that really helps. Do they become more pliable when heated? I hadn't bothered earlier as I just wanted an idea of where they'd go before I took the backing off!

Will do, cheers again. Nice bike by the way, what's the front end off, it doesn't look like the usual GSXR swap?

Woop! Finally got around to putting them on. The heat was the key, once warmed up they conform to the shape of the tank really easy. Cheers again for the picture Dave, it made a nice sanity check!
