I have decided to sell my tastefully modded SV, here it is.....

http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd271/DAVE_KNIGHT/svpiston3.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd271/DAVE_KNIGHT/svpiston2.jpghttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd271/DAVE_KNIGHT/svpiston4.jpg

It is in impeccable condition, having only covered 2880 miles from new. Never seen rain or winter.
Everything was bought new for the suspension conversion, except a pre-wired speedo pick-up that I bought from a forum member on here.
It has 2010 GSXR 750 front end, with High/Low speed compression damping, Ohlins remote res. rear shock (reservoir hidden, and no butchery to tool-box/battery tray), Full Akrapovic exhaust, etc etc etc etc.
Email me for full spec.
It's taxed and MOT'd, has Cat1 alarm/immob.
PM me if anyone is interested.
£3790 ono.

Cheers!

Couple of reasons, one being I'm saving up for a mortgage deposit, the other being that I just fancy a change.

It's that simple. :-)

I would have if I hadn't just bought an '08 with more miles and less shiny bits! :(

If this sells for the right money, I'll throw in all the rear seat parts, (Seat, foot-rests, grab-handle), the original headlight side-brackets, (Silver ones), 2 spare number plates, one is naughty, the other is Legal, Haynes manual (never used)......

And the ABBA Stand.

All of which I was gonna sell separately.

if i had 4k i would bite your hands of for that bike. a just run in SV with all the toys for less money than a new one. just to put this into perspective peeps the bouncy bits and the can would set you back no less than £1.5k second hand.

Cheers Bibio,

If it doesn't sell or get any serious interest soon, I will have to consider breaking it.

That would be a real shame though to destroy a perfect bike.

I'd take the exhaust if you break it.

"boing" is like a bump, but a springy one.

Ah ok. Any considerations on selling that exhaust? Could be interested in the front end too.

Gorgeous machine buddy. But best off breaking it to recoup your money. I think most folk would be put off by the fact that 4k will get a new pre-reg 2013 SV650S with 0 miles on the clock. Won't be anywhere near as nice as yours, granted... but 99% of them would probably go down that route.

^^Yes, of course I understand that, but you can't get one that's "sorted" from the factory with this spec(there is a lot more than just the suspension upgrades) for this sort of money, and, as said I'm open to offers.
I think it would be a crying shame to break a sub-3000mile bike.

And the only naked v-twin Suzuki offer is the gladius, which I don't see as a naked SV replacement.

I honestly think if someone came to see it, with a sensible cash offer, they'd be taking away a far better bike than a standard "S".

I don't disagree.... at all!

I just think it's a difficult time in the market to be selling right now. Not made easy by the fact that you need to find that unique buyer.

Ever considered just naming the lowest price you'd accept for it and try that approach?

I don't think he needs to.

I can vouch for the perfection of this bike as I have ridden along side it... It's a fabulous bike and you will not find a better example.

I can also vouch for the fact it has never seen a drop of rain, bloody bloke won't even come out on the bike if there is a single cloud in the sky!

I'd take £3900 cash for it.
Any lower, i'd have to think about what was offered.

Cheers Stu!
