Hi!

I've got oxford commuter grips on my bike and they work fine, apart from when your local MOT station dislodges the block connector from the neck of the frame.

Anyway, I'm hoping to reduce the amount of excess cabling and move move the power switch to a neater location. it currently floats above the left handlebar.

As far as cutting the cables go, thats just a case of cutting, stripping the wires and re-inserting into the block connector, right ? nothing special i need to know?

Secondly, does anyone have a bright idea where i can mount the power switch without drilling a hole in anything ? Its a fully fared S pointy. anywhere behind the neck of the frame? Its TIGHT in there.

My final question is , how good is heat shrink wrap for joining things , im putting new rear indicators on you see...

Can you not sandwich a thin metal plate between another mounting bolt maybe off the tank mounts or the brake mounting point
