Wire wool and autosol.

Powder coating should give a good finish.
Alternatively I sprayed a set silver with Hammerite and it came out quite well.
Depends on what you want to spend and how long you want them off the bike for?

I shot blasted mine and used Halfords rattle cans to prime, paint black and lacquer them
Did it nearly a year ago but only done about 4,000 since and they are already chipping a bit, if I did it again I'd just get them powder coated somewhere

Rustolium Titanium Silver looks really good and is hard wearing.
I think Lozzo did a set using alloy wheel paint, they looked rather good.

They are laquered as standard.
I cleaned mine up with wet and dry to remove the corrosion spots then polished them. If you clean them every so often, with autosol or similar they stay looking mint.

Yeah sanded them down with med-fine paper then wet and dry. Then I used some halfords primer then silver looks as good as standard.

I did my pointy and my dads curvy with etch primer followed by alloy wheel paint and then several coats of alloy wheel lacquer and they both came out like new and have lasted well.
