My textile jacket came with a cardboard back protector. Ive got a knox one so i took that one out, leaving me with a big pocket.

I bought a fake camelbackwater bladder on ebay for £5 and put it in the pocket.

et voila, a water bladder for drinking when riding.

Quite a novel idea! In the heat wave (which seems like a distant memory now) I had to come home earlier than I wanted to cos my head was leaking! And I actually felt dehydrated.

tesco's sell the 'camelbak' style bladders for about £6-£7 iirc.. lots cheaper than the proper £32.99 camelbak's from evans

Why not use the freezable gel packs off eBay. The physio ones and put one in there lol might keep you cool and your drink! It's what I do with my camelbak

Couldn't you freeze the bladder then slip it in the jacket? Keep you cool and cold drink when it starts to melt?
