.....quiet in here hasn't it? Maybe a tad less Facebook and a bit more .Org action?

I do understand the freedom afforded by FB with regard to language but still.......

We were just saying that this evening during our night ride. Need to get a broader GM ride-out going when we have a free weekend.

On the other side its mainly been chat, or last minute arrangements

Cluttering up the feeds and upsetting several folk. We will re-enliven the org section but hopefully keep the bulk of the rubbish elsewhere

Here I would not of been able to make my fanny chicken lips comment, and for that reason, FB will always need to remain.

But its easier to offend people here. Don't get me wrong, I don;t mind offending people, but its so much less satisfying when its easy.

Guess that's true of many things.

Whats the benefit of posting here over facebook?

Nothing at all, just seems a shame to neglect the Org when without it most of us would never have met?

Which we used to do all of in here.;)

To an extent we did. Thing is now there are more people, who live further away. Mike & Clive are an hour away as is Tony.

Nothing much has been on since the AR

I don't quite understand why distance makes any difference?

But this got you all posting!;)

Distance=time. The more time people need to get somewhere the more notice they need.

Then why not arrange something for this Sunday ?.
But remember it over a hours ride @50 ish miles just to get to loomies if that where your going to start from, from my house.
Whose leading ?.
And now we can start filling up the forum with routes, attendance, and excuse's threads........

It's a sunny day. Everyone's out riding or doing other stuff. You can always join in the banter in Thames Valley section if this is not to your liking.

May I suggest that anyone complaining it's all a bit quiet in here does something about it and post something interesting or organise an attractive ride-out instead of complaining that nobody else is posting.

It's not up to us ex-regulars to do all the posting.

I don't get the commotion about all this 'it's so quiet in here'. I've only been on 1 organised ride out since the AR, which was on here (21st July beach trip). The other 2 times I've been out were rides organised with half hours notice. Rest of the time I have been out by myself.
As Mark quite rightfully says, post up something rather than complaining nothing is being posted.

Wow I was only teasing Job, chill pill!;)

Just seems less active is all, maybe I'll have to move back down that way and liven things up again.\\:D/

You know me, any excuse to ride and I'll take it.:riding:

EDIT: Ah I see more of a reaction to Jockeys post than mine.:notworthy:

There's a ride out going on in Essex last weekend of the month. You have all been invited.
