Hi guys quick one... Time for new brake pads front and rear. I like long rides and normally dodge bad weather dont always have to commute.
So i want pads good for fast road use country roads which should i go for links would be great loads of them come up on ebay typing sv650 ebc bit lost..
Cheers
EBC HH sintered in the front, EBC GG organic in the back. PT no. for the front are FA229HH x1 and FA231HH x1. Rears, im not sure of the part no. I think its FA63 for curvy, and FA194 for pointy.

organics on the front will probably still be fine for road work, and save those discs.

I read a lot about the wear on discs from the sintered pads in another older post I for on the forum. I happy to go with these for the extra bite and think the organic on the back should be fine. Wavy front discs are on the cards when I have more spare money as bling more than anything :P
unless your grabbing handfulls all the time then the EBC HH don't wear the discs that much. on the SV the bobbins are more likely to give up before the discs are worn out.

I doubt I'll be doing too much of that. Gone with organic for the back as I'm abit heavy footed sometimes locked bk wheel up a couple times think it's because they were nearly out altogether
did you not have some sort of Italian bike last year?

Not me mate only had my license since november
ignore me i get so confused on this forum.
Ebc HH are very harsh on the discs. Great pads though. It all depends on mileage. If you dint do a great deal then don't worry. My pad of choice were Carbonne Lorraine/HG own brand. Sadly neither are available.

I wore out (and warped) quite a few brake rotors while using organic pads but haven't ever worn out a rotor using HH pads.
Just my theory, but, the HH pads have a higher coefficient of friction, so they require less pressure to generate the same stopping force, and less pressure is easier on the rotors. Could even be true.
