Van Wanted

Want a van for occasional use. Crew type preferred but will consider anything as long as it will fit two road bikes. Must have reasonable MOT and be sound. Budget of £2000. please get in touch if you/a mate has anything.

My dads got an LDV maxus that he's looking to sell if you're interested. Got a few dents here and there and the switch gear on the interior is a bit goosed as its all budget stuff but the running gear is good on it. 2007 with about 70,000ish miles on it. Just had a brand new clutch fitted and a starter motor about 2 months ago. Long wheel base (about 18ft) and a fairly high top too. Not sure what the MOT is like on it, will need some new front discs though i think, current ones are a bit warped. Sort those and its a sound if a little tatty van.

Yes please, the Maxus is a van I'd been considering. If you could find out a price asap that'd be great, as I'm looking at other vans too.

Apparently the MOT is due 'sometime soon' so it'll have new discs, pads, clutch and starter along with 12 months MOT. Think he's after 1900 + VAT for it (is owned by the business) which works out at 2280 which is a bit over your budget?
