Something black, rubbery, round and of the correct size. There are so many tyres, have a read in the tyres section. Plenty of reviews there.

Some rate Maxxis, others Metzlers, Many like the standard Dunlops though I think they must be mad. I like sports orientated tyres even though the mileage you get from them is poor. It's all down to the type of riding you do, the type of rider you are and how the tyre feels to you.
You need to decide if you want ultimate dry road grip or good wet performance,
Do you get your knee down or scrap the pegs on the road ridding you do

How much you have to spend? You ever ride in the rain? Do you want a bit of mileage out of them? etc.etc.etc

Twice the length from middle to end. \\:D/
If your going to ride in the realworld in mixed conditions you cant go wrong on Michelin PR3 or Avon Storm 2

I disagree - round black ones are much better.
