God I must be getting old, all I'm thinking is wtf was he doing 60mph around there for?
Glad your mates not hurt, better he learnt and walked away than the alternative. Hopefully it wont put him off bikes for good.

Haha. "Must have been down to the humidity"

also made me chuckle, nothing to do with the excessive speed then huh? SuperCorsas or not, the laws of physics still apply.

A lad said he was bound to come off . So he got far too confident . Yes seems humid to the roads being moist . There the roads they normally go so they take them pritty fast .

Yeah I've just watched a few of his videos and Im gutted to see he's very local to me. The routes he rides criss cross my own so I've no doubt seen him a time or two.
The one who does the filming is a time bomb, if he is a representation of how your mates ride then it wont be long until someone has a serious off.

I've also now realized I know that corner, its on the A636 heading back towards the M1 from Wakey center.
Feel free to mock your mate dude, he who was riding the SV screwed up! Its nothing to do with his tyres that's for sure that corner *could* be taken at way over 60mph without incident he either panic'd or braked or panic braked lol. Either way he messed up, my guess he wasn't cranked over enough so braked and target fixated on the kerb resulting in the off. He's a lucky boy, there is a lot of street furniture around there to collide with.
confidence > ability = pain.

*could* = I don't condone it, I think riding round a blind corner 30ft from a set of traffic lights is suicide and damn right retarded. What I mean is that with the 2 lanes available and in a corner of that radii you can EASILY get an SV round there in 3 figure speeds.

I have told them many of times they ride stupid . Yep the vids the lad on the cbr125 is nuts. Very quick on corners but a matter if time . Yes its in the town centre near enough. A lad take the dual carriage way at cineworld/mc donalds retail at 90 but hes good but nothing last for ever

The bikes ****ed light lol

I did think that might be the 'FUCT' light...

And yeah some of the lads might be able to take the corner at 60-90 without trouble, others struggle at below 60, they can wipe themselves out all the want.... it's when other people get dragged into the disasters that the lads cause.

Have they considered maybe going into the countryside for a blast instead of ripping up 30/40/50mph dual carriageways & industrial estates?

fair point Joe, it's not like his ass was warming in the seat and the fact it was trapped under his ass was insulating the heat from escaping.

Good luck with sale.

Like who? It all seems related to the guys on the video apart from a single swipe at Lambos.

+1
I didn't read any of the above as folks having a dig at Joe, Joe is just reciting what he's been told by his friends the responses to him are for those friends he certainly seems to be taking them that way too.
All the rest of it is posters are slating that standard or riding which again has no bearing on Joe... no need for video there, we all know he's a nutter ;)

There is empirical evidence to suggest Joe's standard of riding is better than mine.

"wezzys"...
If that's some sort of west Yorkshire abbreviation then as a "wezzy" I certainly don't approve :)

Idle: The gist is, the bikes got no clutch action and the guy is a lucky SOB. hth :)

I'm guessing YC you're on about the day Joe road around the wall you parked in.

Shame, quite tidy.

Just goes to show, if you're going to off yourself on the bike, do it properly by going through a remote stone wall on a decent road in a ball of fire... that way hopefully noone accuses you posthumously of attending a "crooooze". Sad story.

"after a problem a new engine was fitted"? Take it this engine didn't have a restrictor fitted then???

"after a problem a new engine was fitted"? Take it this engine didn't have a restrictor fitted then???

Who says the original restrictor lasted 2 minutes!

Although, one would presume that the carbs were just swapped over... so no reason why not.
Please don't add credence to the likes of FI international trying to tell people their 33bhp (or 45hp these days I suppose) is only "valid" if its unf*ckedaboutwith as they already try and extort money from people when they've bought a restricted bike etc.
